The Gibraltar Cycling Club (GCC) has existed in some form for decades, but was formally inaugurated and registered as a sports club in April 2014. The Club now consists of over 90 subscribed  members who are represented by the Club’s committee.

GibCyclingThe GCC has members of all ages and abilites, ranging from youngsters to pensioners, from novices to Commonwealth Games and Island Games athletes. Some of our members participate on group rides on an almost daily basis, riding 6 or 7 times a week, clocking up kilometrage in excess of 16,000km a year! And others who have to wait for the freedom preciously afforded by the weekends to grab the opportunity to ride. Either way, there are rides almost every weekday, and several on Saturday and Sunday mornings to suit all abilities.

The routes we ride arguably take in some of the best cycling terrain in the world. Andalucia’s terrain and countryside shower reward on cyclists who choose to explore her attributes, from tough mountain climbs in the Sierras to wind-swept flats of the coastline. And of course, no club ride is complete without the obligatory coffee and toast stop (or two…). by Bern Valarino

GFT no @Gibraltar Football Talk (GBT) was formed in 2013 by four Gibraltarian football fans for Gibraltar football fans – looking to fill the vacuum which existed in respect of coverage of Gibraltar football – and now the Number 1 source and official UEFA.com correspondents for all Gibraltar football related matters.

GBTPreviously there was no media service available which provided football fans in Gibraltar, and outside Gibraltar, with information on the ins and outs of Gibraltar football. Gibraltar Football Talk has filled this gap by providing in-depth information, statistics, rumours and updates via Twitter and Facebook, on everything and anything related to Gibraltar football, including:

– live updates on National Team matches;
– live updates on Premier Division matches;
– Premier Division and Second Division league tables;
– Premier Division top goalscorers chart;
– transfer rumours, etc.

GFT also records podcasts at least on a bi-weekly basis covering recent matches and events in Gibraltar football and provides discussion on European football. In addition, special guests are invited to talk about Gibraltar Football while past and present players are interviewed so that followers can hear their stories as told by them. Love your football? Then you’ll love Gibraltar Football Talk!
