A Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society (FRMetS), Stephanie is a highly experienced weather forecaster with almost 30 years previous experience working for the UK Met Office, and who is now owner and CEO of MeteoGib Marine and Commercial Weather Consultancy
Her experience spans across a wide background of weather forecasting, specialising as a Marine Meteorologist but with 20 yrs of experience also encompassing Commercial, Media, Aviation, Defence Forecasting and in addition Severe Weather Hazards & Risk Assessment for UK Local Government and for the Government of Gibraltar.
With over 30 years experience in corporate and investment banking and finance, Steve is drawing on this to assist MeteoGib with financial oversight plus various marketing initiatives and the fast-growing social media presence. Steve is also the main MeteoGib photographer and supplies many of the images seen on MeteoGib’s Twitter and Facebook pages. He is an award winning weather photographer with 2 Royal Meteorological Society competition winning images in his portfolio. Steve also won the ‘Barclays Earth’ global photo competition in 2016 with his image of the Rock of Gibraltar at sunset.
Nigel Heaton joins us as Head of Sales on a Freelance basis as he is not permanently based in Gibraltar.
Nigel started out in sales with the International Thomson Organisation and Dun & Bradstreet. He moved on to set up a Marketing Consultancy in the 80’s before becoming engulfed by the then embryonic Mobile Phone business. There he spent nearly 25 years as owner manager of one of Motorola’s specialist mobile communication dealers in the business to business arena (Mocom Telecom).

MeteoGib is pleased to have Professional Meteorologist Bee Tucker join us on a freelance basis while based in the UK. Bee is a TV weather presenter in the UK for BBC Spotlight, South Today and Points West. Bee grew up in Sussex, before attending university in Nottingham to study geography, where her interest in weather began. Bee worked for the BBC Weather Centre in London where she discovered her passion for broadcasting and went on to broadcast news bulletins in local radio. Her dream job was to be a TV weather forecaster, but wanting to understand more about the science behind it, qualified as a meteorologist a few years later, completing her training at RAF Brize Norton.
MeteoGib is pleased to welcome Stéphane to the MeteoGib Team, where he will be helping on a freelance consultancy basis with our Weather Product Development, while based in the UK.
Stéphane moved to the UK in 1999 from France with a Masters in Physics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marine Engineering. He has been working in the Oil industry in various technical positions ever since.
In 2008, he completed his training as a commercial pilot; this is where he discovered meteorology and loved it from day 1. As an enthusiast he has studied extensively on the subject, contributing in weather forums and on twitter. In early 2015, he embarked in a distance learning “Certificate in weather forecasting” with Pennsylvania State University which he passed with flying colours in late 2016.
Stéphane has also been producing local forecasts for the Scottish Grampian region as part of a Weather Club for over 4 years.
